About: Known to friends as Lynn, Kanasai* has been cosplaying since 2004. Back in college, did her academic paper on Hayao Miyazaki and her first cosplay was from "Spirited Away" by Studio Ghibli - The interest in the works by Studio Ghibli hit a home run with this cosplayer since a long time ago.

Finds Cosplay a creative, self-sustaining & skills-enhancing activity. Personal motto: "Strive for personal satisfaction in the craft, have fun with friends and share your work!"

Born & located in Singapore, loves to travel and always tries to include cosplay in her itineraries. Enjoys experiencing the cosplay culture from different parts of the world like Malaysia, Taiwan and Japan. To her, Japan was the start of many many things inspiring, creative & beautiful. It is hard to just choose any one aspect as a highlight of how and what Japan means to her but the place never fails to heighten her senses!

Always hoping to visit again, Japan has a special place in her heart. For now her heart is with the people of Japan and knows for sure with the determined spirits of the Japanese will see the sun rise again!
