She has won numerous awards for her costumes, and has been honored by being a guest of honor at many conventions. She has cosplayed for 12+ years with no plans on giving it up!
Why you want to do this calendar: "Relief work in all forms is and always has been important to me. Being able to use my beloved hobby, cosplay, as a way to help people in need, makes me very happy indeed."
What Japan means to you: "I have visited Japan numerous times and made many friends there over the years. To me it's an extension of both my hobby and my own homeland, since I feel so at home there. The culture, the people, the history…all of it is amazing, and I want to do whatever I can to help restore it."
