About: Thais Fonseca Jussim, better known as Yuki is a cosplayer since
2000, having won several competitions in Brazil and becoming the
country's best know cosplayer. Yuki has played over 60 characters from
games, anime and movies and she was a Brazilian champion in 2007 and
represented Brazil at the World Cosplay Summit in Nagoya, Japan.
She participated in five editions of the Brazilian tour of  the show
Video Games Live, was as a guest of a parade of a samba school in Rio
de Janeiro in honor of Japanese culture, and was also in the
production of a documentary on Japanese pop culture.
Yuki is often requested as a special guest at conventions all over
Brazil and other countries such as England, Mexico, Colombia and
Argentina.

What Japan means to you:
"When I was younger and I became interested into manga and anime, I
used to imagine Japan as a land of dreams, a paradise from where came
all I liked. But then I got a chance to go there and to know more
about this country, and I realized that it was much more than that.
What I found was a beautiful country with a rich culture, full of
contrasts. The memories of the days I spent there I will never forget,
and I hope to be back there soon. And I'm sure I'll find Japan renewed
and more beautiful than ever."
